Why Cold Press Sesame Oil?

Sesamol & sesamin intact

These unique lignans are powerful antioxidants found only in sesame oil. Cold pressing preserves them fully — refining and high heat destroy them.

Balanced Omega-6 & Omega-9

40–50% linoleic acid (Omega-6) and 35–45% oleic acid (Omega-9) — an excellent fatty acid profile for cardiovascular health and inflammation balance.

Extracted below 45°C

Slow mechanical pressing below 45°C preserves all heat-sensitive nutrients, natural colour, and the authentic warm nutty aroma that refining strips away.

FSSAI certified

Manufactured at DSS 53, Sector 9A Market, Gurugram under FSSAI food safety standards. Zero chemical solvents, zero bleaching agents.

Vitamin E & antioxidants

Rich in tocopherols (Vitamin E) and natural antioxidants that protect cells from oxidative damage. Heat processing above 100°C degrades these significantly.

Ayurvedic & traditional use

Sesame oil (til ka tel) has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years — for oil pulling, abhyanga (full-body massage), and as a base for herbal preparations.

How to Use Cold Press Sesame Oil

01

South Indian tadka

Essential for South Indian cooking — use for tempering mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilli in sambar, rasam, and rice dishes.

02

Ellu sadam & rice dishes

Drizzle over cooked rice with sesame seeds and salt for ellu sadam. The nutty aroma is the defining flavour of this Tamil classic.

03

Stir-frying & sautéing

Smoke point ~230°C — suitable for medium-high heat cooking. Adds a distinctive nutty depth to stir-fried vegetables and noodle dishes.

04

Abhyanga (oil massage)

Warm slightly and use for full-body Ayurvedic massage. Sesame oil is the traditional base oil in Ayurveda — deeply nourishing and warming.

05

Oil pulling

Swish 1 tbsp in mouth for 10–15 minutes on an empty stomach. Traditional Ayurvedic practice for oral health — sesame oil is the recommended oil.
